Booking

Please be as descriptive as possible when booking with me so that I can give you the most accurate quote + timeline.

I do not do hand/neck/face tattoos for first time clients, unless you are already heavily tattooed.

I require a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure appointments. This goes towards your total at the end, unless you cancel/no show.

Please do not book a tattoo with me unless you are financially able to! Tattoos are a gift you give to yourself - do not put yourself through hardship for the sake of a tattoo.

By booking with me you agree that you have read my FAQ and policies completely.

Pricing + Payment

Pricing varies from project to project, and I am always willing to work within your budget to make you something beautiful.

Most appointments will be flat rate, I do not use an hourly rate but charge by size.

My sizing is generous and I am not strict, I will always err on what looks best for you.

Small Palm - $150 - $200

Palm Sized - $250 - $350

Hand Sized - $400 - $500

Half Sheet of Paper - $500 - 700

Sheet of Paper - $700 - $900

Day Session (5-8 hours) $1000 - $1200

If your tattoo requires a second appointment to finish, I require full payment up front + we also book your next appointment typically 3-4 weeks ahead so it can be finished in a timely manner. 

For large ongoing pieces like backs or sleeves, I am happy to work in bite sizes with a minimum of $400 per session (2-3 hours of work).

My day rate is $1200 for those who are interested in getting serious coverage within a day, typically for backs, sleeves, large sprawling designs. These appointments are all day events typically 5+ hours.

Tipping is appreciated, but not mandatory. Please do not tip me with food :)

Lateness, Cancellations + No Shows

Please be on time to your appointments, and e-mail me if you are going to be late (no DM).

I do not send reminder e-mails - you are responsible for your own schedule.

Please cancel as soon as possible if you need to. If you are sick around the day of your appointment let me know so we can reschedule - tattoos are hard on the immune system and illness affects everyone at the shop.

Tattoo Designs

Custom tattoo designs will be available to you at the time of your appointment and only available upon request as I design projects by queue.

By commissioning me for custom work you agree that my style is agreeable to you and you trust my ability to fulfill your vision.

Space

Ritual Winnipeg is located in the Exchange District and is ramp accessible via the door to the left of the main entrance. If you unable to access, please let me know.

Appointments after 6pm will need to e-mail on arrival to enter the building.

Please do not bring guests, pets, or minors with you. Service dogs are OK.

Tattoo times can be variable and I am only able to give you an estimated timeline. Please do not commit to plans in a way that would make you feel rushed during our appointment.

Preparations

Please come to your appointment in good health, well fed, rested, and wearing loose and comfortable clothing for the area getting worked on.

Do not wear nice clothing or light colours. For tattoos on legs, please bring shorts.

Prior to your appointment, I appreciate you gently exfoliating, shaving, and moisturizing the area you plan on getting tattooed. Please shave generously and avoid cutting the skin.

You are welcome to take Advil or Robax to help manage pain. If you require numbing, please let me know so I can give you application instructions/coordinate its use.

My work space is no shoes so please wear clean socks.

Touch-Ups

Touch-ups are free within a 3-month window granted that they have been well maintained and are fully healed. Touch-ups after this window is $50/hour.

Appointment

Please bring ID, snacks and water for yourself. I do have a preference to work quietly, so headphones encouraged. If you have driven here the street parking is only 2 hours, but there are a few parkades around for longer days.
